Investments in the diversification of economic activities in rural areas towards non-agricultural activities

A beach volleyball court and an artificial turf pitch.

The aim of Pidula Wakepark's planned investment is to improve and expand the existing infrastructure in order to offer a better service and diversify activities. The main objects of the investment are a beach volleyball court and an artificial turf pitch.

To build a full-size beach volleyball court (a sand court for ball games) and an artificial turf pitch where people can play ball games or trampolines can be set up. This widens the choice of sports activities and attracts visitors with different interests.

A full-size beach volleyball court also makes it possible to hold official competitions (volleyball has a very large following on Saaremaa, but there are very few courts outside Kuressaare).
