Pidula Wakepark Stage I

Designing the PRO cable, improving the pond, purchasing/installing the PRO cable system and obstacles.

The aim of the project is to build a Wake Park on the old fish farm ponds at Pidula. Wake is a popular water sport that emerged in the late 90s. It can be described as a combination of snowboarding, skating, surfing and water skiing. A wakeboard itself looks similar to a snowboard: they have the same shape and both have boots and bindings.

Given the current situation in the Baltics and the Nordic countries, the water park being built is one of the best and makes it possible to bring international competitions to Estonia/Saaremaa as well. As wake does not depend on the weather, the sport offers experiences every day and to everyone who wants to try it.

Pidula Wakepark Stage II

Designing the beginner cable, improving the pond, erecting a lightweight service building, purchasing/installing the beginner cable system and obstacles.

Adding the second cable means completing a service park that offers a complete water sports experience, able to serve customer groups of different sizes and wishes and to offer a range of activities without leaving the park.

With the completion of the first stage of Pidula Wakepark, there is now an opportunity for an active water sports experience. However, having only one cable does not make it possible to offer a complete full service or to serve larger groups of visitors. Sufficient world-class facilities for beginners, extreme sports enthusiasts and professionals alike would bring many new visitors to Saaremaa, including from all over the world. It is precisely people who do extreme sports who are willing to travel a lot for new and interesting experiences. The Pidula wakeboard park would offer a combined opportunity that suits both someone trying the sport for the first time and a professional athlete.

Pidula Wakepark Stage III

An on-water adventure course (Funpark), advertising banners, logo, sound and lighting equipment.

Besides promoting healthy lifestyles, the aim of developing Pidula Wakepark is to help improve the living environment and raise the profile and attractiveness of the region.

Pidula Wakepark gives water sports lovers an opportunity that does not depend on the weather. It has world-class facilities for beginners, extreme sports enthusiasts and professionals alike. As people who do extreme sports are willing to travel a lot for new and interesting experiences, this also means more visitors to Saaremaa.

Pidula Wakepark ATV Safari (Stage IV)

The first electric ATV safari in Estonia. Offering off-season activities on Saaremaa.

The aim of the project is to turn Pidula Wakepark into a year-round active leisure centre where, in addition to water sports, nature experiences can be enjoyed in every season. The project will build an electric ATV safari trail together with the necessary infrastructure and modern electric vehicles, giving visitors an eco-friendly and novel way to explore Saaremaa's nature.

Introducing electric ATVs helps reduce the seasonality of tourism and creates new opportunities for local residents and visitors to Saaremaa alike. Thanks to quiet, zero-emission vehicles, experiences can be offered in a way that spares nature, while supporting local business and cooperation with local accommodation and catering businesses.

The aim of the fourth stage of Pidula Wakepark is to strengthen Saaremaa's position as a sustainable and innovative tourist destination. The new services make the region more attractive, create additional jobs and offer visitors high-quality experiences all year round, following the principles of green tourism.
